A Journey to the Audiobook Platform Creators Were Seeking

Publishing your audiobook shouldn't be hard — and keeping every dollar you earn shouldn't cost you control. Avoid the market walls with MyAudium

A new audiobook platform was created – My Audium

MyAudium was built by an author who ran into the same walls every independent creator faces when trying to publish an audiobook: restrictive platform rules, blocked AI narration, and listeners locked out by unnecessary account requirements.

A Platform Built to Give Creators Control

MyAudium exists so creators can publish, sell, and promote audiobooks on their own terms — without losing revenue, flexibility, or control to a marketplace.

With MyAudium, creators can:

  • Publish audiobooks using any voice, including high-quality AI narration
  • Keep 100% of their sales through direct Stripe payments
  • Give listeners a premium experience with a professional player, progress tracking, and in-book notes
  • Get an SEO-ready audiobook page created automatically, with the option to edit it
  • Share free previews or gifted access through flexible marketing links
  • Build buyer trust with listener activity, stats, and reviews

Pricing stays simple too: plans start at $50/year, with the effective cost per audiobook dropping as you publish more. (See full pricing plans for details.)

Why I Built MyAudium

MyAudium wasn’t a random software idea. It started with my own book.

After writing it, I wanted to bring it to life as an audiobook — but the major platforms made that harder than it should have been. Audible rejected my AI-narrated audiobook for not fitting their publishing policies. Then, when I tried to simply share preview chapters, I ran into a second wall: access depended on platform-specific accounts. Google Books required listeners to have a Gmail account; Apple Books required an iCloud account. If someone gave me a business email, I’d have to go back and ask for a different one just so they could listen.

The problem was never the quality of the audiobook. It was the system built around it — complicated, restrictive, and designed around platform rules rather than creator needs.

As an author, I didn’t want to lose control of my own audiobook, block my listeners with unnecessary account requirements, or give away a large share of my revenue after doing the hard work of writing, producing, and promoting the book. Independent authors, coaches, consultants, educators, and small publishers deserve better: control, flexibility, a professional listening experience, and the ability to sell directly without losing most of the revenue.

That’s why I built MyAudium — a platform that solves the exact problems I ran into, built from the perspective of someone who has been both the author and the SEO professional trying to make a book discoverable, shareable, and simple for an audience to experience.

I believe in this platform enough to use my own full audiobook as a live demo. Listen for free and experience MyAudium exactly as your audience would.

Your knowledge shouldn’t be blocked by complicated systems, outdated publishing rules, or platforms that take control of your audience and your revenue.

Whether you’re an indie author, coach, consultant, educator, course creator, or small publishing house, you created the knowledge and built the audience — you should control how your audiobook is published, promoted, and sold.
